Inner Freedom Is Your Right - Claim IT!

Do you ever wonder why you sometimes feel so bad about
yourself, or why the events you experience can be so disturbing?
Many people feel this way, and most of us believe we suffer like
this because the conditions we meet within ourselves or in the world
around us are capable of punishing us.
But the fact is, the conditions in our lives don't
actually have the power to punish us as we think they do. The true
cause of our pain is that we've forgotten that the higher Intelligence
that powers this universe is Good: not just sometimes, not only
for those who are "deserving," but for all of us
and in all ways.
As we are, when unwanted moments occur, a part of
us reacts negatively, which brings us to a choice point. We can
either identify with the dark stream of thoughts and feelings that
arises within us, believing that's all that's possible for us -
or, we can take that negative reaction as a signal to look up and
out. This allows us to become quietly aware of the downward-trending
presence within us that is working to pull us into a world filled
with unwanted negative states. And because we are now aware of it,
we can break free.
Through self-observation we can begin to realize that
the real reason so much of what's going on within and around us
seems "bad" is that that's all we can see! Just as beauty
is in the eye of the beholder, so is negativity, which gives rise
to inner states like fear, depression, and bitterness. In such moments,
having become bound up in thoughts and feelings we don't want, and
then seeing a world that confirms our sense of captivity because
that's what the negativity projects into the moment we see, we literally
forget that none of what we're going through is necessary.
The only reason we ever stand in a storm of negative
states is that we've fallen asleep! We've forgotten who we really
are, including our inborn right to call upon a higher Intelligence
that instantly transports us out of harm's way. Anytime we can remember
to do so, we are free to wake up and return to our true home-within
us-beyond the reach of fear, doubt, or any other dark state.
If we wish to walk through life free of the fear of sudden storms-and
to have the abiding confidence of knowing we have an interior home
whose light cannot be breached by any darkness-then our task is
First, we must see how we are blinded and then bound
in a prison of false perceptions induced by having forgotten our
true higher possibilities. And second, we can use the following
insight as the wake-up call to action that it is intended to be:
The freedom you have to let go and outgrow who you have been is
not something created; it is and always will be yours, which means
it cannot be destroyed any more than the onset of night destroys
the light of the sun.
Nothing in the universe can take from you your right
to be inwardly free; it is a gift that is inborn in human nature.
This means that anytime you find yourself struggling to escape the
grip of a negative state, it's only because you're in a dream (more
like a nightmare) from which you have yet to awaken. The true prescription
with the power to end your pain is to shake yourself awake from
the forgetfulness that has caused you to lose sight of your true
nature and its higher possibilities. Remembering the truth of yourself
is one and the same as remembering your right to be free.

Yes, there IS a silent killer on the loose in developed
nations, particularly in America, and most of us will fall victim
at some point in our lives. This silent killer is mostly preventable,
yet most of us do little to avoid it, and do even less to educate
ourselves about its risks. Unfortunately, conventional medicine
mostly deals with this epidemic with drugs medications
often more lethal than the condition(s) theyre meant to
treat. When wholistic rejuvenation principles are applied, relief
and reversal of symptoms deal with inflammation through lifestyle
and nutrition-based medicine.
These inflammatory disorders not only compromise
our quality of life, they are painful, debilitating, largely mis-diagnosed,
over-medicated, and even fatal. Inflammation in general makes
up the combination of factors that is the underlying cause of
almost every illness, because those are the conditions that are
causing congestion of the ducts and vessels of circulation and
elimination, such as the bile ducts of the liver, the digestive
tract, the blood and lymph vessels, the urinary tract, the meridians
(Chi ducts) and the hormonal pathways (endocrine system).
Both T4 and T3 hormones perform
several important functions including the regulation of the bodys
basal metabolic rate (BMR), which determines the amount of energy
the body uses simply to function. Therefore, insufficient or excess
quantities of these hormones can lead to weight-related as well
as many other chronic health disorders.
These days, most of the iodine
we get in our diets is from table salt. Iodine was actually added
to salt to reduce incidence of goiter (enlarged thyroid gland)
back in the 1920s. And that worked for a while. Currently people
are cutting back on table salt for other health reasons so they
arent getting much, if any, iodine. What little they do
consume may not work effectively, either, even when its
natural sea salt. Iodine depletion has occurred because other
minerals like chlorine, fluoride, and bromide, which lower iodine
levels in the body by blocking iodine receptors, are increasingly
consumed through foods and environmental exposure. Chlorine is
now used to purify water instead of iodine. Fluoride, almost universally
found in toothpaste and drinking water, blocks the ability of
the thyroid gland to concentrate iodine. Bromines, which began
replacing iodine in commercial baked goods over 30 years ago,
can cause depression, headaches, and even hallucinations.
Rebirth of Ancient Methodologies
not everyone has forgotten what this amazing mineral does for
our health. Integrative medical practitioners are bringing iodine
back in their clinical protocols. And researchers suggest that
boosting iodine consumption improves thyroid health, lowers incidence
of breast and fibrocystic disease, prostate dysfunction and promotes
overall well-being. The current minimum daily requirement is 150
micrograms (mcg). Typically, we in the United States consume 240
mcg per day just enough to prevent goiter, but not enough
for other truly beneficial health effects. Remember, its
not only important to take the correct supplement, its more
important that the body can convert it to useable energy

iodines anti-cancer functions may be amongits most important
benefits. Scientific tests exposing estrogen-sensitive breast
cancer cells to iodine show the cells are less likely to grow
and spread. Fibrocystic breast disease is a common condition involving
swelling, tenderness, and discomfort of the breasts. In one study,
98% of women receiving iodine treatment were pain-free by the
studys end, and 72% had improvements in breast tissue.
Iodine is available in various
forms, each of which affects specific tissues in the body. If
thyroid issues are your concern, potassium iodide is best absorbed
by the thyroid. Breast tissue uses iodine most efficiently in
the form of molecular iodine. Consider a supplement that includes
more than one form like that found in a homeopathic blend. The
most effective formula Ive used and recommended is a homeopathic
proprietary blend called Wholistic Thyroid Balance which contains
three forms of iodine; sodium iodide, potassium iodide, and molecular
iodide (from kelp).
If youre extra-sensitive to cold, put on weight
easily, have dry skin, feel foggy, or are victim of
soft and connective tissue pain like fibromyalgia, you may be
deficient in iodine. Other easy-to-recognize signs include a thinning
of the outer third of the eyebrows, stiff joints, and dull, lusterless
hair. If these sound like common symptoms, its no surprise
most people dont get the iodine they need!

Recipe of the Month
Cooking Time: 1 hour; 1 casserole dish
6 large green peppers
1 lb. ground beef
½ cup onion (diced)
1 cup cooked basmati rice
1 teaspoon sea salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon oregano
½ teaspoon basil
½ teaspoon parsley
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
1 can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon flour blend
½ - ¾ cup water
Romano sheep cheese
Cut off top of green peppers, remove center and all seeds. Combine
ground beef, onion, eggs, rice, salt, pepper, tomato sauce and spices.
Mix well and stuff peppers. Place peppers upright in a casserole
dish. Sprinkle the top of each pepper with Romano cheese. Add ½
to ¾ cup of water to cover the bottom of the dish.
Bake at 350° F for 1 hour. Serve hot.
